Residencies

At bluefactory, we offer teams of professional artists and scientists an environment that promotes artistic research and exploration. The programme is run in collaboration with the University of Fribourg and, depending on the project, with entities present on the site. The residencies bring together artistic practices, scientific disciplines and/or humanities and social sciences.

Each artist in residence benefits from workspaces, remuneration and support adapted to their proposal. Priority is given to the research process, interdisciplinary exchanges and the emergence of new approaches, without necessarily requiring the production of a finished work.
